ST. PETER'S (69's AD - 1st century)

St.Peter's, Rome
 
  The Basilica of Saint Peter is the largest church of Christianity.  
  St.Peter's is near Castel S.Angelo and it is often used by the  
  Pope. St. Peter's was built at the site of Peter's crucifixion.  
  In Italian this church is known as the Basilica di San Pietro

  SAN GIOVANNI IN LATERANO (324 - 4th century)
San Giovanni in Laterano, Rome
 
  The Basilica of St. Jhon Lateran, in Italian Basilica di  
  San Giovanni in Laterano, is the official ecclesiastical seat  
  of the Pope.  
  The Baroque facade of Basilica of St. Jhon Lateran  
  was complete by Alessandro Galilei (mathematician, architect  
  and member of the same family of Galileo Galilei) in 1735.

  SANTA CROCE IN GERUSALEMME (consecrated in 325)
Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, Rome
 
  The Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme is one of the  
  Seven Piligrim Churces in Rome. The Basilica was consecrated  
  around 325 to house the Passion Relics brought to Rome  
  by St. Helena of Constantinople, mother of Constantine.  
  In that occasion, the Basilica floor was covered with ground  
  from Jerusalem.

  SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE (360 - 4th century)
Santa Maria Maggiore, Rome
 
  The costruction of Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore,  
  also known as Santa Maria della Neve and Basilica Liberiana  
  (in English language "Saint Mary Major Basilica"), was  
  commissioned by Pope Liberius in 360.  
  It is the greatest church in Rome dedicated to the  
  Blessed Virgin Mary.

  SAN PAOLO FUORI LE MURA (386 - 4th century)
San Paolo fuori le mura, Rome
 
  The Basilica di San Paolo fuori le Mura, known in English  
  as the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, was erected  
  in 386 under Theodosius the Great, Roman Emperor from 379  
  until his death.

  SAN LORENZO FUORI LE MURA (580s - 6th century)
San Lorenzo fuori le mura, Rome
  The Basilica of Saint Lawrence Outside the Walls
  is the shrine tomb of the church namesake, Saint Lawrence,
  one of the Seven deacons of Rome martyred in 258.
  Before the present day Basilica (constructed in 580s, under
  Pope Pelagius II), Emperor Constantine built a small oratory
  over the site on which it was believed that Saint Lawrence
  was executed.
